A Curly Bun

 For a girl with medium to long hair, a curly bun is elegant and sophisticated. To achieve, pull the hair back into a neat, high ponytail. Split the ponytail into 1 inch sections, using a curling iron to curl each section. Using pins, pin the curls around the base of the ponytail until it is completely covered along the top, bottoms and sides. Faux  flowers or pretty pins can be placed in and around the bun to add more interest to the style.

  

Curly Ponytails

To create this style, curl your child's shoulder-length or longer hair using a curling iron or hot rollers. Pull these two sections of the hair back, joining them together and securing with a hair tie or clip. A half up, half down hairstyle can be worn with both straight and curly hair.
